Emily & Kevin’s West Village Engagement / NYC Photographer

Emily & Kevin found me after I photographed their close friend’s wedding last spring, and booked me to photograph their own wedding day later this year! We spent a chilly Saturday morning in February capturing their engagement session, and had the most fun running around the West Village together.

I absolutely love capturing engagement photos for my upcoming wedding couples - it’s such a special way to connect and build a relationship together ahead of the big day. Not to mention, it really helps the couple to feel more comfortable being in front of the camera! I make sure to take my time, feel out each couple’s individual style, and get to know them better so I can be extra prepared to show up for them on their wedding day.

So for E&K’s session, we met up by West 4th and took a little route around the village, hitting a few of the iconic backdrops along the way and some places they love to visit on dates! We got super lucky with the sun shining as soon as we started, on a day that had started out so gray!
